After the birth, we come to your home several more times. We consult with the maternity assistant, think about any questions you may have and offer support, where necessary.
Even if you were under the care of the hospital during pregnancy or delivery, we will come to your home in the postpartum period.
Breastfeeding and bottle feeding

Recovery after giving birth
After giving birth, your body immediately starts recovering to get back to a non-pregnant state, a process we call 'de-pregnancy'.
This recovery can vary in duration, depending on several factors. For instance, recovery after a caesarean section usually takes longer than after a vaginal delivery.
About 6 weeks after giving birth, you are welcome to come to us for a follow-up check-up. During the check-up, we look back on your pregnancy, labour and postpartum period.
We are curious about your recovery and how you experienced everything. There is also room to ask questions and discuss issues such as contraception again.
